The Patriot Guard Riders Mission Statement

Mission Statement:

The Patriot Guard Riders is a 100% volunteer, federally registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization which ensures dignity and respect at memorial services honoring fallen military heroes, first responders, and honorably discharged veterans.

Vision Statement:

The Patriot Guard Riders is a diverse amalgamation of riders from across the nation. We have one thing in common besides motorcycles. We have an unwavering respect for those who risk their very lives for America’s freedom and security, including fallen military heroes, first responders, and honorably discharged veterans. If you share this respect, please join us.

We don’t care what you ride or if you ride, what your political views are, or whether you’re a hawk or a dove. It is not a requirement that you be a veteran. It doesn’t matter where you’re from or what your income is; you don’t even have to ride. The only prerequisite is Respect.

Our main mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family. Each mission we undertake has two basic objectives:

1. Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities.

2. Shield the mourning family and their friends from interruptions created by any protester or group of protesters.

We accomplish the latter through strictly legal and non-violent means.

To those of you who are currently serving and fighting for the freedom of others, at home and abroad, please know that we are backing you. We honor and support you with every mission we carry out, and we are praying for a safe return home for all.

and Ride Captain, Joe Diaz of the Rio Grande Valley (RGV)
chapter will be coming up from Harlingen with a group to
join us in support of this event. Asst. Lead Ride Captain,
RonPacha will meet up with them at 3:30 pm tomorrow at the
Valero Station at US 77/TX 44. Anyone coming from the
northside is most welcome to join them and ride to the
airport as a group. And one last time, if you are
planning on joining us for the dinner at the
American Legion in Kingsville and have not emailed me
yet, please do so TODAY. I am sending the organizers
my last head count at 6pm today

UPDATE: I know a lot of you want to participate but have
a problem with your work schedule. As many of us
as possible will be at the airport for the "Welcome"
at 4:00. I do not see the procession leaving the
airport prior to 5:00 pm, so if you can make there
by then you are most welcome to join the escort.
Just be sure to email me if you plan to join in on the dinner
at Kingsville American Legion. I owe them a head count.

We have a new request for a Warriors Weekend Event for
Wednesday, 7 September 2011.

This event has two parts: Part 1 is "Welcome" at airport
for the Warriors. Part 2 is a bike escort of the Warriors
to Kingsville.

the escort ride and join us for dinner at the American
Legion in Kingsville, please email me ASAP (no calls
please, so I have a record) so I can give a head count
to the caterer of the event so they know how much food
to prepare.
