The Patriot Guard Riders Mission Statement

Mission Statement:

The Patriot Guard Riders is a 100% volunteer, federally registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization which ensures dignity and respect at memorial services honoring fallen military heroes, first responders, and honorably discharged veterans.

Vision Statement:

The Patriot Guard Riders is a diverse amalgamation of riders from across the nation. We have one thing in common besides motorcycles. We have an unwavering respect for those who risk their very lives for America’s freedom and security, including fallen military heroes, first responders, and honorably discharged veterans. If you share this respect, please join us.

We don’t care what you ride or if you ride, what your political views are, or whether you’re a hawk or a dove. It is not a requirement that you be a veteran. It doesn’t matter where you’re from or what your income is; you don’t even have to ride. The only prerequisite is Respect.

Our main mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family. Each mission we undertake has two basic objectives:

1. Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities.

2. Shield the mourning family and their friends from interruptions created by any protester or group of protesters.

We accomplish the latter through strictly legal and non-violent means.

To those of you who are currently serving and fighting for the freedom of others, at home and abroad, please know that we are backing you. We honor and support you with every mission we carry out, and we are praying for a safe return home for all.

Final Itinerary - Wounded Warrior Weekend

FINAL ITINERARY Wounded Warrior Weekend Rolling Tribute - Houston - El
Campo, TX

The SE Texas PGR has once again been asked to provide a Rolling Tribute for a number of our wounded warriors who will be coming into Intercontinental on Friday morning, 20 May 2011.

Upon arrival they will board buses and we will provide a rolling tribute from Houston's Intercontinental Airpot to Prasek's in El Campo, where we will stop for gas, etc., and this is also where South Texas PGR will be picking up the buses and escorting them the rest of the way to Port O'Connor, TX for a weekend of fishing and fun!!

Mission Lead: KP McNeal; kpmcneal@bechtel.com; 281-684-5099

Mission 2nd; M. McAnulty; mike.mcanulty@cedarcrestone.com; 832-656-8766

Staging Location: IAH Cell Phone Lot, located on Will Clayton Parkway & Wright Road. If you are headed west on WC Parkway from Hiway 59, Wright Road will be your first right after Lee Road, approximately 2.2 miles west of Hiway 59. If coming from JFK Boulevard north, take WC Parkway east for about 1.8 miles, lot will be on the left. A map showing the staging area has been included in the calendar information of the same subject located at www.setexaspgr.org..

Staging Time: 0845 - 1010

Briefing: 1010 - 1030

KSU: 1030

There will be no stops between staging and El Campo, so make sure you arrive at staging with a full tank of gas. As noted, we will make our first stop in El Campo which is approximately 95 miles, so make sure you are hydrated before we leave from the cell phone lot.  If you have a
reflective vest or a bright color shirt, please wear it for this mission. This is NOT a requirement, just a suggestion.  There will NOT be any flag bikes as we will be going normal hiway speeds (60 - 65). Our route to Victoria will be from the cell phone lot, down 59 through downtown
Houston on to Praseks' in Hillje (just past El Campo).  We'll be there until around 1PM when South Texas PGR alone with any of you that want to continue, will pickup the rolling tribute and depart for Victoria, passing slowly through the towns of Ganado and Edna, arriving in
Victoria around 2-2:15PM for the Field of Honor dedication.  That will start @ 3PM and end around 4-4:15 at which time we'll proceed to Port O'Connor (POC) to lodging and then the fish fry.

Respectfully submitted: KP McNeal, Deputy State Captain, 281-684-5099;
