The Patriot Guard Riders Mission Statement

Mission Statement:

The Patriot Guard Riders is a 100% volunteer, federally registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization which ensures dignity and respect at memorial services honoring fallen military heroes, first responders, and honorably discharged veterans.

Vision Statement:

The Patriot Guard Riders is a diverse amalgamation of riders from across the nation. We have one thing in common besides motorcycles. We have an unwavering respect for those who risk their very lives for America’s freedom and security, including fallen military heroes, first responders, and honorably discharged veterans. If you share this respect, please join us.

We don’t care what you ride or if you ride, what your political views are, or whether you’re a hawk or a dove. It is not a requirement that you be a veteran. It doesn’t matter where you’re from or what your income is; you don’t even have to ride. The only prerequisite is Respect.

Our main mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family. Each mission we undertake has two basic objectives:

1. Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities.

2. Shield the mourning family and their friends from interruptions created by any protester or group of protesters.

We accomplish the latter through strictly legal and non-violent means.

To those of you who are currently serving and fighting for the freedom of others, at home and abroad, please know that we are backing you. We honor and support you with every mission we carry out, and we are praying for a safe return home for all.

**UPDATED - Information re: Donations for Combat Marine Outdoors

RGV-South Texas PGR,

My name is Master Gunnery Sergeant Arturo G. Garcia and I am the Vice President of Combat Marine Outdoors 501c3. We have actively supported our Marine, Army, Navy, and Air Force Warriors since 2005. We started with a few of us providing outdoor activities to our brothers and sisters recovering @ Brooke Army Medical center from their injuries suffered in our war against the evils of the world. Through the need to grow our team became a 501c3 in 2009. We do not receive government grants and operate 100% by volunteers and donations. Our program was designed and built with a vision to be the link between our community and our Wounded Heroes. The need is great as we support over 8000 Warriors throughout many military hospitals. These young men are on Active Duty and most have a Purple Heart Medal for their injuries.

This trailer is going to secure a Polaris 800-13 ft long (valued @ 13,000), two mechanized wheelchairs-4 ft long (valued @ 20,000 ), 4 large ice chests, 6 rifles/ammo, and all the gear needed for 4-6 day outings.

Our Team and supporters appreciate everyone's efforts in acquiring this trailer to secure and transport our equipment. Go to www.combatmarineoutdoors.org and donate through Pay Pal or mail check to Combat Marine Outdoors, 6610 Malibu Drive, Houston, Texas 77092.

RGV-PGR, please share this e-mail to all to assist and clarify our situation.
