A message from Butch Cone of the PGRSTX:
It has been a Somber December for the PGRSTX with the passing of two fine young Marines(KIA),and one of our sisters father. Lets pray to our Lord, that this sorrow and grieving that we have been part of this month, shows us all, just how precious life is. Freedom Isn't Free!! Where do I start? What a Heart-Felt send-off and Goodbye for L/Cpl.Jose L.Maldonado who was laid to rest today. Their are no words to express my feelings for the tremendous turn out of the PGR family, doing what we do Best, Silent Respect in Honor of this fallen Hero, who paid the ultimate price for our freedom. Thank You!!!!(is not enough said) to the 53+Brothers & Sisters that stepped up today to Honor this fine young man. The Escort was great, (they went above & beyond the call of duty) these past two days. The missing man fly-over by the Marine Military Air-Wing was awesome lead by Col. Brian Childs (Jumper), Maj.Chapman, Capt.Stewart, Lt/Col. Neesen, and ground control by 1st/Lt. Marroqvia (Stealth). Thanks!!! to the Rio Grande Valley PGR for their 13+ strong (John, Felix, Joe, Lorie, Denny, Jim, Tony, Richard, Barry, Roy, Mr.Medina, Jose Z, Jose T & Zylvia & Arnold). A Great job was done by our two fine support vehicle personal,Jim Cornwell, and Sherye. Thanks!!!! to my Ride Captains these last two days, Tom Nichols, Pr. Albert, Doug "Buzz" Crumley, Manny Sanchez and Greg Sanderson, with your support these missions would not of happened. It is my humble Honor to stand with each and everyone of the PGR family. Ride Like You Stole It, But Safely. To All, A Happy New Year!!!!!!! Butch"Turtle"Cone Act.Lead R/C PGRSTX. |
